到着日の夕方、ホテルの部屋で少し休憩した後、海沿いを散歩してみました。 宿泊先のSan Diego Marriott Marquis & Marinaから海沿いに歩くこと約5分。クリスマスソングが流れる散歩道を歩いて行くと、美しい景色とともにSeaport Villageが見えてきました♡
散歩道では、ハーバー沿いに並ぶ色とりどりのヨットや、対岸に広がるコロナドアイランドの景色を楽しむことができました。特に夕暮れ時には、穏やかな風景に癒されながら歩くだけでも最高の時間を過ごせます。

夕方のSeaport Villageは、多くの人々で賑わっていましたが、穏やかでリラックスした雰囲気に包まれていて、子連れでも安心して歩ける場所でした。
実は、今回の旅行計画は直前に立てたため、San Diegoについてあまりリサーチできていなかったのですが、こんな素敵な場所があるなんてと感動しました。ベイエリアとはまた違った、飾らない穏やかさや自由な空気感が心地よく、本当に癒されました。
Seaport Villageにはさまざまなレストランやお土産屋さんが立ち並び、訪れた人々が思い思いの時間を楽しんでいました。今回はSanta Monicaでカルーセルに乗ったばかりだったのでここでは乗りませんでしたが、それでも充分に満喫することができました。♡
San Diego Travel Diary: Strolling Around Seaport Village
On the evening of our arrival, after taking a short rest in our hotel room, we decided to take a leisurely stroll along the waterfront. From our hotel, the San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina, it was just about a five-minute walk to Seaport Village. As we walked through the city streets adorned with Christmas lights and filled with festive songs, the beautiful scenery of Seaport Village came into view.
The path to Seaport Village was truly enchanting, offering views of the colorful yachts in the harbor and the picturesque Coronado Island across the bay. The serene atmosphere during the evening made it a perfect time to unwind and enjoy the scenery.

Honestly, we didn’t do much research about San Diego before our trip due to the last-minute planning, but discovering such a wonderful place was a delightful surprise. The unpretentious charm, peaceful vibe, and sense of freedom were incredibly refreshing.
Seaport Village is home to various restaurants and gift shops where visitors can unwind and make the most of their time. Although we didn’t ride the carousel here (having just done so in Santa Monica), there was still plenty to enjoy and experience.
